Building capacity and enhancing EDI
INHABIT is dedicated to fostering responsible innovation, promoting transparency and facilitating inclusive ways of working across the Hub. Our Hub brings together researchers from different disciplines to tackle the net zero challenge as a team. We are committed to upholding strong Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) principles in all our hub activities.
We create ways for researchers and stakeholders to build skills together and share knowledge, through:
- Training for everyone on accessibility and EDI to help build an inclusive research culture.
- Workshops and webinars that give researchers and partners a clear understanding of key topics.
- Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities for people at all career stages.
- Secondments to and from stakeholder organisations to enhance translation and impact skills.
- Support for stakeholders undertaking academic training, including Masters of Public Health / MSc modules at host academic organisations.
- Empowering early career researchers (ECRs), providing training, mentorship, leadership and participation opportunities.
